My Experience Speaks for Me
I’ve been a Board-Certified Counselor for over four years, with a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Webster University. My work has been all about understanding the brain, especially within the neurodiverse community. Right now, I’m taking it even further by pursuing a doctorate in Behavioral Neuroscience.
But let’s get real—degrees are only part of the story. With nearly 14 years of hands-on experience, combined with my own neurodiverse lived experience, I’ve gained a deep understanding of what truly helps. I began my mental health journey supporting kids and families in the Autistic community, both one-on-one and in group settings. That’s where I discovered my passion for helping people embrace their uniqueness, rather than trying to fit into neurotypical molds.
This led me to career counseling, focusing on empowering Autistic individuals to thrive in their professional lives. As I transitioned into my role as a therapist, my focus remained on neurodiversity and trauma. During the height of COVID-19, I worked in ERs, providing crisis support across diverse populations, including those in neurodiverse communities. I don’t just know the theory—I’ve lived it.
If you’re looking for someone who understands, who’s been there, and who’s ready to help you move forward, I’m here. Together, we can make the changes that truly matter to you.

Affordable Therapy That Works for You
I truly believe that everyone should have access to quality mental health care, no matter your financial situation. That’s why I offer sliding scale therapy, making sure that you can focus on feeling better without the added stress of high costs. My sessions range from $50 to $100 per session, which means that you can get the support you need without breaking the bank.
How Does My Sliding Scale Work?
I understand that everyone’s situation is different. That’s why my sliding scale isn’t just based on your household income; I also consider any unique circumstances that might affect your ability to pay. Whether you’re managing ADHD, dealing with anxiety, or just need someone to talk to, I’ve structured my pricing to be fair and flexible. It’s all about keeping your well-being front and center.
Why I Offer a Sliding Scale
Mental health support should never feel out of reach because of financial concerns. I’ve designed my sliding scale to be as accessible as possible, because I want you to focus on healing, not on whether you can afford therapy. Everyone deserves to feel better, and I’m here to make that happen, one session at a time.

What to Expect in Anxiety Therapy: Let's Tackle This Together
Feeling like anxiety is running the show in your life? Whether it’s those sleepless nights, constant worry, or the weight of overwhelming thoughts, you’re not alone. Here in St. Louis at Enlitens Counseling, my goal is to give you a safe, welcoming space where we can work through those anxious feelings together. It’s all about creating a plan that helps you regain control in a way that feels comfortable and achievable for you.
Here’s what you can expect from working with me in our anxiety therapy sessions:
- Building Trust from the Start: Our first few sessions are all about building trust and creating a space where you feel comfortable sharing. We’ll talk about what’s been going on, what’s triggering your anxiety, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. No pressure—just a conversation where you get to set the pace.
- Understanding Your Triggers: Anxiety shows up in different ways for everyone. Whether it’s social situations, life transitions, or something else entirely, we’ll work together to identify what sparks your anxiety and how it impacts your life—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
- Creating Your Personalized Toolkit: We’ll build a set of tools to manage your anxiety, tailored specifically to you. Think of it as a toolkit filled with techniques like breathing exercises, mindfulness practices, and grounding strategies—things you can rely on whenever anxiety pops up. Together, we’ll figure out what works best for you.
- Challenging Unhelpful Thoughts: Anxiety has a sneaky way of convincing us that our fears are bigger than they really are. We’ll work on spotting those negative thought patterns and challenge them with more balanced, realistic perspectives. This will help you gain confidence in handling your fears and worries as they arise.
- Celebrating Your Progress: Every small win counts. Whether it’s making it through a tough day or trying something new that used to feel impossible, we’ll celebrate those moments. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” you—because you’re not broken. It’s about helping you find a sense of calm and empowerment as you navigate life’s challenges.
Here at Enlitens Counseling in St. Louis, I’m committed to helping you find balance. Anxiety doesn’t have to hold you back, and I’ll be with you every step of the way to help you take control and create a life where you feel more grounded and at peace.

Digging Deeper into Anxiety: What You Need to Know
Anxiety is a tricky thing—it sneaks into your life in different ways. Maybe it’s that constant worry that keeps you up at night, or perhaps it’s the sudden panic attacks that leave you feeling helpless and out of control. The good news is, anxiety doesn’t have to rule your life. Once you understand how it affects you, you can begin to take control and find peace.
At Enlitens Counseling in St. Louis, I’ve worked with people from all walks of life to help them unpack their anxiety and create a sense of calm. Whether it’s a teenager overwhelmed by social pressures or an adult juggling work and family life, therapy is about finding what works for you. Here’s how we’ll tackle your anxiety together:
- Identifying Your Type of Anxiety: Anxiety can show up in different ways. For some, it’s Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD)—that nagging worry about everything. For others, it’s panic disorder, with those unexpected, overwhelming attacks. Social anxiety? Yep, we address that too. By figuring out your type of anxiety, we can tailor the therapy to best support you. Take Emma, a college student who used to avoid social gatherings. We worked on her social anxiety, and she now attends events with confidence, knowing her triggers and how to manage them.
- Discovering Root Causes: Anxiety often has deeper roots. Maybe it’s past experiences, inherited patterns from family, or even self-critical thoughts that keep looping in your mind. We’ll explore these roots gently and together, giving you the understanding you need to start managing anxiety from the inside out. Jake, for example, found his panic attacks were linked to unresolved trauma from high school. Once we identified that connection, he was able to start healing, and his panic attacks became far less frequent.
- Exploring the Mind-Body Connection: Anxiety doesn’t just affect your thoughts—it impacts your body too. You might feel a racing heart, tightness in your chest, or even an upset stomach. We’ll work on techniques that help calm both your mind and your body, so you can feel more in control. For instance, Sarah, a working mom, learned that deep breathing exercises helped her stay grounded when she felt overwhelmed at work. Now, she uses those techniques to manage her stress in real time.
- Addressing Co-Occurring Challenges: Anxiety often brings friends. It’s not unusual for it to show up alongside depression, or even obsessive-compulsive thoughts. We’ll take a holistic approach, making sure that we’re addressing all the challenges you might be facing. For example, I worked with Miguel, who struggled with both anxiety and perfectionism in his job. We focused not just on managing his anxious thoughts but also on loosening the grip of his obsessive need for everything to be “just right.”
- Lifestyle Tweaks for Managing Anxiety: Sometimes, small adjustments in your daily life can make a big difference. Whether it’s getting more sleep, incorporating exercise, or practicing mindfulness, we’ll figure out what simple lifestyle changes can help reduce your anxiety. Amy, for instance, found that adding a 10-minute meditation to her morning routine significantly reduced her anxiety throughout the day. These small shifts can have a huge impact.
At the end of the day, the more you understand about your anxiety, the better you’ll be able to manage it. Therapy is a safe space for you to explore, understand, and begin to feel more in control of your mental health. You don’t have to do this alone.
