Welcome to Happy-ish!

Welcome to Happy-ish, my blog where I talk directly to neurodiverse adults, young adults, and parents of neurodiverse kiddos. Whether you’re in your 30s or 40s navigating ADHD or autism, a young adult figuring out anxiety, or a parent supporting your child’s unique journey, this space is for you. I created Happy-ish to offer practical advice, personal stories, and a bit of humor—because mental health doesn’t always have to feel heavy. Let’s explore the ups and downs together, with honesty, support, and a focus on real-life solutions.

If you’re struggling emotionally and need to talk to someone, you’re not alone. Unfortunately, I can’t be with you 24/7. It may take me a few hours or even a day to respond to you since Enlitens doesn’t do crisis management. Feel free to call me or schedule an appointment, but if you need something right now, try one of these resources below.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency or safety emergency requiring law enforcement, EMS, or fire, call 911.

If you are experiencing a mental health, suicide, or substance use crisis, or any other emotional distress, call or text 988 or chat online at 988lifeline.org/chat.

Do you need a counselor to talk to you immediately? BHR has 24/7 mental health professionals you can call, text, or have come to you to help manage a crisis. Call them at (314) 469-6644 and they can help now.
