Quality Counseling That Fits Your budget in St. Louis.
Affordable Therapy That Works for You
I truly believe that everyone should have access to quality mental health care, no matter your financial situation. That’s why I offer sliding scale therapy, making sure that you can focus on feeling better without the added stress of high costs. My sessions range from $50 to $100 per session, which means that you can get the support you need without breaking the bank.
How Does My Sliding Scale Work?
I understand that everyone’s situation is different. That’s why my sliding scale isn’t just based on your household income; I also consider any unique circumstances that might affect your ability to pay. Whether you’re managing ADHD, dealing with anxiety, or just need someone to talk to, I’ve structured my pricing to be fair and flexible. It’s all about keeping your well-being front and center.
Why I Offer a Sliding Scale
Mental health support should never feel out of reach because of financial concerns. I’ve designed my sliding scale to be as accessible as possible, because I want you to focus on healing, not on whether you can afford therapy. Everyone deserves to feel better, and I’m here to make that happen, one session at a time.
What You Can Expect
When you choose to work with me, you’re choosing a space where you’re valued—not just for your struggles, but for your strengths too. My goal is to make therapy fit your life, whether you come to my cozy office in St. Louis or we meet virtually from anywhere in Missouri. Learn more about how my sliding scale works and how I can help you find the right fit here.

Making Therapy Easy with Insurance Options
I totally get it—finding a therapist who not only accepts your insurance but also has availability can feel like a big hurdle. That’s why I’m here to make things as smooth and stress-free as possible for my St. Louis community. My goal is to provide affordable mental health support that fits seamlessly into your life and budget, so you can focus on getting the care you deserve without the extra worry.
Insurance Plans I Accept
To help keep therapy accessible, I’m proud to accept a variety of insurance providers, including:
Don’t see your insurance provider listed? No worries! Just give me a call or text at 314-246-0480, and I’ll personally help you verify your benefits. I’m here to make sure you get the support you need, without the added stress of navigating insurance alone.
I Handle the Paperwork So You Don’t Have To
Whether you’re starting ADHD therapy, working through anxiety, or seeking autism support, I’m here to guide you through the entire process. You won’t have to worry about the details—I’ll handle all the insurance paperwork, so you can focus on what really matters: your well-being.
My Experience Speaks for Me
I’ve been a Board-Certified Counselor for over four years, with a Master’s in Clinical Counseling from Webster University. My work has been all about understanding the brain, especially within the neurodiverse community. Right now, I’m taking it even further by pursuing a doctorate in Behavioral Neuroscience.
But let’s get real—degrees are only part of the story. With nearly 14 years of hands-on experience, combined with my own neurodiverse lived experience, I’ve gained a deep understanding of what truly helps. I began my mental health journey supporting kids and families in the Autistic community, both one-on-one and in group settings. That’s where I discovered my passion for helping people embrace their uniqueness, rather than trying to fit into neurotypical molds.
This led me to career counseling, focusing on empowering Autistic individuals to thrive in their professional lives. As I transitioned into my role as a therapist, my focus remained on neurodiversity and trauma. During the height of COVID-19, I worked in ERs, providing crisis support across diverse populations, including those in neurodiverse communities. I don’t just know the theory—I’ve lived it.
If you’re looking for someone who understands, who’s been there, and who’s ready to help you move forward, I’m here. Together, we can make the changes that truly matter to you.

What Therapy Looks Like with Me
Free 15-Minute Consultation—Let’s See if We’re a Fit
If you’re unsure whether therapy is right for you, no worries! I offer a free 15-minute consultation where we can chat about your needs and see if we’re a good fit for each other. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure conversation where you can ask questions and get a feel for how I work. Plus, it’s a great way for us to connect before diving into anything formal.Scheduling Your First Session
Once we’ve had our consultation, scheduling your first session is a breeze. I’ll send you some easy forms to fill out ahead of time—nothing complicated, just a way for me to understand your goals and where you’re at in your journey. This lets us jump right in when we meet for that first session. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy and start laying the groundwork for a plan that makes sense for your life.Your First Session: Getting to Know You
Our first full session is all about getting to know each other. We’ll go over the forms you filled out, talk about your goals, and create a roadmap together. It won’t be one of those cookie-cutter plans. Instead, we’ll figure out what’s going to work best for you, based on what’s been weighing on your mind and what strengths you already have. This is your space, and together, we’ll build a plan that feels just right for you.Inside a Session: What It Feels Like
Each session is a chance for us to tackle what’s on your mind and build tools to help you navigate daily life. Take Jessica, for example. She gets overwhelmed when her routine changes, like when a meeting gets shifted at the last minute. In our sessions, we worked on mindfulness strategies to help her stay grounded, even when her day doesn’t go as planned. Now, she feels more in control when those unexpected changes pop up. Or maybe you’re like Marcus, a graphic designer from South St. Louis. Marcus loves his job, but he often struggles with focus when deadlines are looming. Together, we created a system that helps him break big projects into smaller, manageable tasks. Now, Marcus stays on track and meets his deadlines without that nagging feeling of being overwhelmed.Therapy That Fits Your Life
Whether you want to come into my cozy office in South St. Louis or prefer to join me virtually from anywhere in Missouri, I’m here to meet you where you are. The goal is to make sure you feel safe and heard, no matter the setting. We’ll move at your pace—no rush, just real, meaningful progress. Ready to start? Let’s work together to create a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling. You can schedule your free consultation today, and we’ll figure out how to help you move forward. I’m excited to meet you and start this journey together. Our Neurodiversity-Affirming Approach to Therapy: Supporting You Every Step
When you work with me, I want you to know that everything we do is centered around honoring who you are. Therapy is not about fixing you, because you aren’t broken. It’s about helping you navigate challenges and celebrating your strengths, whether you’re working through anxiety, managing life with ADHD, or exploring your identity on the autism spectrum. My approach is always neurodiversity-affirming—meaning we embrace your unique perspective and work together to build a life that feels fulfilling to you.
Personalized Therapy that Fits You
Therapy with me is as unique as you are. There’s no one-size-fits-all plan here—each session is crafted around your individual needs and goals. For example, when working through ADHD therapy, we might focus on practical strategies like time management, staying organized, or even managing hyperfocus. The goal is to find what resonates with you, so you can see real changes that positively impact your day-to-day life.
A Space Where You Can Be Yourself
I want every session to feel like a place where you can show up as your whole self—whether you love video games, have a passion for art, or just need a space to talk through the stresses of everyday life. You might bring up how anxious you feel about a big presentation at work, or maybe how overwhelming it is when your routine gets disrupted. No matter what, we’ll work together to find strategies that help you feel more grounded and in control.

I Mix Culture with Counseling
Therapy doesn’t have to be all about serious conversations and tissues. Here in St. Louis, I believe in integrating your world into our sessions. Whether you love music, movies, video games, or have just finished that must-watch Netflix series, I’m all about connecting with you on your level. This approach makes therapy relatable, engaging, and effective.
Sometimes, we’ll dive into art therapy or use therapeutic games to explore what’s going on beneath the surface. Other times, we might chat about your favorite characters, discuss an epic plot twist, or relate those stories to your personal experiences. By making therapy relevant to your interests, you can open up and grow in a space that feels safe and familiar.

Have a question? Our FAQ might answer it !
How do I pay for therapy?
We want to make therapy accessible to everyone, so we offer a few different ways to pay. If you’re using insurance, we can help you figure out your coverage and benefits. You’d simply pay your copay at each session, and we’ll handle the rest with your insurance company. If you’re paying out of pocket, we have a sliding scale based on your income and situation. And if things are a little tight right now, let’s chat – we can work out a payment plan or something else that works for you. We’re all about flexibility here!
How soon can I get scheduled?
Usually, we can get you in for a quick chat within a day or two. Just click the ‘Schedule‘ button or shoot us a text at (314) 246-0480, and we’ll get the ball rolling. We’ll figure out what times work best for you during that chat. Most folks have their first session within a week!
And hey, we know life doesn’t always follow a 9-to-5 schedule. We offer evening and weekend appointments, so we can find a time that fits around your work, school, or family life.

What is working with you like?
Remember that line in Mean Girls where Amy Poehler says, “I’m not like other moms, I’m a cool mom”? That’s me, but as a counselor.
I take a neurodiversity-affirming approach, meaning I see your unique brain wiring as a strength, not a deficit. We can talk about anything from your favorite Netflix binge to that epic plot twist in the latest video game. If it helps you open up and feel comfortable, I’m all for it.
We don’t have to just sit and talk (unless you want to!) – we can also play games, get creative with art, or explore whatever helps you express yourself. My goal is to make therapy feel less like a chore and more like a supportive conversation with a friend who really gets you.
What are appointments like?
Our first session is all about getting to know each other. I’ll ask questions to understand what’s going on and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy. We’ll also chat about your goals and how we can work together to achieve them.
From there, each session will be tailored to your needs. Some days we might dive deep into what’s been happening in your life and come up with coping strategies. Other times, we might play a game or do some art to help you express yourself and feel more comfortable.
My goal is for you to leave each session feeling a little lighter, a little more empowered, and a little closer to the best version of yourself.
How long does therapy last?
Therapy sessions typically last about 45 minutes to an hour. If you’re bringing your little one, we’ll spend a few extra minutes chatting with you afterwards. Sometimes we might run a bit over, but I try my best to stick to the hour so it doesn’t mess up your schedule.
As for how long we’ll work together, that depends on your goals and what you’re hoping to achieve. Some people start feeling better after a few sessions, while others might need a bit more time. My goal is to help you build the confidence and skills to navigate life’s challenges on your own. We’ll decide together when you’re ready to fly solo!
How often do we meet?
We usually start with weekly sessions to build momentum and really get to know each other. But hey, life happens! We can totally adjust the frequency as needed. Some folks prefer every other week, or even monthly check-ins. It’s all about what works best for you.
And if you ever need to take a break or come back later, no worries! We’re flexible and here to support you whenever you’re ready.
Can I choose to have my sessions in person, online, or both?
You bet! We want therapy to fit seamlessly into your life, not the other way around. You can choose to meet in person at my cozy South County office, where we’ve got plenty of fidgets and comfy spots to hang out. Or, if you’re anywhere in Missouri, we can connect virtually through a private Google Meet link.
And hey, you can mix and match depending on what works best for you each week. Need to stay home with the kids one week? No problem, we’ll meet online. Feeling like you need some in-person energy the next? Come on over to the office! It’s all about what helps you feel most comfortable and supported.
What are your hours?
I’m here for you by appointment only, usually Monday through Thursday from 11 am to 7 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am to 2 pm. We can meet in person at my cozy South County office or connect virtually anywhere in Missouri. I also have some limited virtual availability on Fridays, so just ask!
I know life can get hectic, so if you need to call or text me outside of these hours, feel free to leave a message, and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can. If it’s an
Our first session is all about teamwork! We’ll chat about your child’s history, any challenges they’re facing, and what you hope to achieve through therapy. I’ll also spend some one-on-one time with your child to get to know them better and build a connection. For younger kids, I’ll give you quick updates at the beginning or end of each session. You’re welcome to relax in our waiting room or enjoy a little ‘me time‘ during the session. I believe in open communication, but I also respect your child’s privacy. I’ll keep some things confidential, but you’ll always get general updates on their progress. And of course, if there’s ever a safety concern, I’ll let you know right away. While I can’t prescribe or adjust medications myself, I’m happy to collaborate with your doctor if you’d like. We can share updates from therapy sessions to ensure everyone’s on the same page. I’m also here to help you explore other ways to manage your symptoms, like developing coping strategies or practicing mindfulness techniques. Ultimately, the decision about medication is entirely yours, and I’ll support you in whatever choice you make. Hey, we totally get it – life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule, no worries. Just let us know by 11:59 pm the day before your appointment. You can shoot us an email at liz@enlitens.com or give us a call/text at (314) 246-0480. We understand things come up, but if we don’t hear from you by then, there’s a small $25 fee for late cancellations or no-shows. But hey, if we can reschedule within three business days, we’ll happily apply that fee to your next session. And if the fee is ever a problem, just let us know – we’re always happy to chat about it.
