I’m basically a huge mental health nerd who loves to share the random knowledge I have with others, in doing so I strive to be a collaborative counselor who helps you set the goals you want and helps you find the tools for your own success.
Sessions last about 45 minutes. How many sessions we have depends on a lot of things. Mostly how many sessions you want to spend together. We’ll talk about it as we go.

The big thing is just to take that big step to let someone know you want some help. If we aren’t a good fit I will make sure that I give you resources that can better help you reach your goals. I’m also a part of a network of counselors and will do my best to help you find someone that can help.

If you cannot keep the scheduled appointment, you MUST notify our office to cancel or reschedule the appointment 24 hours in advance of the scheduled appointment time. If you do not attend the session, or if you cancel less than 24 hours in advance of the session, a late cancelation/no-show fee equal to half the session fee will be applied to your credit card on file.

If you’ve got insurance have a copy of your insurance card handy when we talk and we can go over how that can make therapy more affordable. If you feel like you can’t afford counseling for any reason please call me and we can talk about my sliding scale option.

If you’re struggling emotionally and need to talk to someone, you’re not alone. Unfortunately, I can’t be with you 24/7. It may take me a few hours or even a day to respond to you since Enlitens doesn’t do crisis management. Feel free to call me or schedule an appointment but if you need something right now try one of these resources.
