Terms & Conditions.

The Rules of Engagement. No Legalese Traps.

The Anti-Fine-Print Promise.

Most terms of service are designed for one thing: to protect the company while you blindly click "I agree."

We wrote this differently.

These are the ground rules for using our website and our services. They exist to protect both of us — your rights as a human and our ability to keep doing this work. If something here does not make sense, ask us. We will explain it.

The TL;DR Summary.

Your Content, Your Rights.

We Never Exploit Your Story

Anything you share in therapy stays yours. We never use identifying information in our content without explicit, written consent.

Our Content, Our Work.

Original Research Protected

The articles, guides, and resources on this site are our original work. Please do not copy them without permission.

Not Emergency Services.

If In Crisis, Call 988

This website and our text messages are not a substitute for emergency care. If you are in crisis, call 988 or go to your nearest ER.

We Can Change This.

Transparent Updates

We may update these terms as our practice grows. We will always post the updated version here with a clear date.

The Full Breakdown.

1. Who We Are

Enlitens LLC is a mental health practice operated by Liz Wooten, LPC, based in Crestwood, Missouri. When we say "we," "us," or "our," we mean Enlitens LLC. When we say "you," we mean anyone who accesses our website, uses our services, or communicates with us.

2. Using This Website

This website is for informational and educational purposes. The content here — articles, guides, resources — is not a replacement for professional therapy or medical advice.

  • You will not attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security.
  • You will not scrape, harvest, or bulk-download our content.

3. Telehealth & Clinical Services

Our clinical services are governed by a separate Informed Consent that you sign before beginning therapy. That document covers the specifics of the therapeutic relationship, confidentiality, and your rights as a client.

4. Text Messaging (SMS)

If you opt in to receive text messages from Enlitens:

  • Messages may include appointment reminders, scheduling confirmations, and practice notifications.
  • Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
  • You can opt out at any time by replying STOP.
  • Text HELP for assistance.
  • We will never include Protected Health Information (PHI) in text messages.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, and code — is the property of Enlitens LLC unless otherwise noted. You may share links freely. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

7. Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to external resources we find helpful. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. When you leave our site, their rules apply.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of St. Louis County, Missouri.

If any of this is unclear, reach out. We would rather over-explain than under-deliver. Transparency is not a buzzword here; it is a promise.
